This course covers contemporary philosophical and practical applications of ethics and ethical conduct. Through an exploration into how ethics manifests in our minds – and how it differs between cultures and generations – you'll be able to unravel how you developed your own sense of ethics, and will learn ways in which you can make more informed ethical choices that challenge the status quo. Through this course you'll discover how empathy can be used as a powerful tool for closing ethical gaps and busting through biases that inhibit ethical progress. You'll gain an understanding of what empathy means for human experience and the nuanced implications of empathetic responses to stimuli.
