Live Online workshops in the Disruptive Design Method open on a rolling basis. Enrolment is limited to small group sessions, so the earlier you apply the better. Once dates are released, you will receive an email to register. If the dates don't work for you, we will move your application to the next session and keep you on the list.



The Disruptive Design Method is the UnSchool approach of mining, landscaping and building creative interventions for positive change outcomes, this program focuses activating systems change utilizing the DDM in order to bring about the circular economy. There is a strong focus on redesigning for circular outcomes throughout the small group sessions held twice a week for a month, with direct & peer feedback to support advancing and upskilling in these areas. This immersive program is designed for professionals from a variety of different backgrounds interested in activating positive impact, fostering a systems-based mindset, designing change outcomes, and developing the leadership skills for challenging the status quo.

Creative change-maker Emma Segal brings over two decades of experience designing and producing local and international manufactured consumer goods. She has a wealth of experience in sustainability, design and systems change that she brings to our dynamic creative approach to challenging the status quo by design. With formal training in international relations, design and illustration, along with a Masters degree in changing the way designers create products, she has a deep breadth of work from creating multi-million dollar programs for multi-national organizations to bootstrapped entrepreneurs. She works extensively in all aspects of design, as well as facilitating workshops around the world as an UnSchool Educator in sustainability, design and systems thinking. Her experience spans creating large scale fashion shoots, to factory apparel production trips in India, Thailand and China, New York fashion shows & magazine press visits, as well as designing for change-making projects to support the growth of the circular economy at all levels. Emma has won many design & illustration awards, and her work has been seen in Harrods, Nordstrom, Barneys, Fred Segal, Galleries Lafayette, movies, TV shows, magazines, been included in books on systems change, and featured by the Smithsonian.
